Niki Krasaki is a composer of contemporary experimental music based in Athens. She completed her studies (Bachelor and Master degrees with I. Papadatos, D. Maragopoulos, and D. Trypanis) in Corfu, specializing in the composition of instrumental and vocal music, and music for the performing arts.

Her compositional interest focuses on music theatre, while she simultaneously explores alternative notation methods, such as graphic and verbal scores. She has participated in workshops and masterclasses with L. Ramou, A. Louvier, N. Tzortzis, G. Aperghis, as well as the "Workshop for Young Greek Composers" organized by the Greek Composers’ Union.

Since 2010, she has participated in ensembles for improvisation and experimental music (WHI, among others) both as a composer and a performer.

She has received commissions from institutions and ensembles such as the Onassis Stegi (for the work Buzzer - Trigger Happy), the Pythia Trio, and the piano duo of Thalia Papadopoulou and Myrto Akrivou. Her works have been presented in cultural venues, including the EMST (National Museum of Contemporary Art, for Radio Path), the Onassis Stegi, the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron), and the Athens Conservatoire, as well as internationally.

Alongside her compositional work, she is active in the field of research. Her involvement began in 2017, when she came into contact with historical and pioneering scores and documents through the archives of the Athens Conservatoire and the Center for Contemporary Music Research (CCMR/KΣYME).

She is a member of the Greek Composers’ Union (GCU/EEM), the Center for Contemporary Music Research (CCMR/KΣYME), and the Research and Documentation Center of the Athens Conservatoire (KET).
